Family Updates & Events

Okay everyone....this is my attempt at maintaining a BLOG site. I've done websites before, but never a BLOG....so here we go...

Hope everyone is well following the hoopla after Christmas. Granny and I were really glad to be able to spend it with everyone at Marcellus & Holly's home. The food was wonderful--thank you everyone for preparing all that....the Russian Tea cookies, by the way, were VERY addicting. (I only had 5, I think.) I have been fighting with a mild cold since Dec 26, but so far Granny has not had any problems.

Granny and I will enjoy New Years Day at home. I have been working mandatory OT everyday which is continuing through the first week of New Years. Looks like the weekend of 1/5 is when I will be putting away all the Christmas decorations--I should be over this cold by then.

Nico got a very spiffy aqua bone for Christmas--apparently you are supposed to fill it with liquid that she can get out as she chews on it--haven't done this yet and will probably wait until is good weather to do it outside. She also got a gourmet dog biscuit from Treats Unleashed in St. Peters....guess how long that lasted.....

Santa brought Granny a globe-shaped puzzle which she has been working on for several days now. Been doing a good job on it....but it can be a bit difficult to work with.

The puzzle is two Thomas Kinkade images. It's certainly keeping her busy.
